thank you :p they werent medieval, but early modern (1500 AD to 1800 AD). apparently the wings were a psychological weapon as they were so loud theyd scare the other horses

thank you! i dont know how to give tips for website-making in general... what hasnt already been said, at least. my advice only really pertains to my website because i think i tend to do my own thing
my design philosophy is to look for inspiration outside of the field you are trying to create in. visual art, video games, books, films, music, and even architecture or nature can inspire you in terms of aesthetic, structure, mood or content.
take advantage of the features that a website has to offer, as opposed to static composition. the difference between a pretty poster and a webpage is that a webpage is meant to be interacted with and explored

technically yes and no, this is my first proper website
i once had a singular page on neocities but it was just an edited template that i was experimenting with to learn html/css. what came out of it was a blinding pink and white eysore with random pixel art all over it so i dont count it lol..
